Compensation And BenefitsThe salary range for the position is $54,387 to $117,180, per year, however, actual starting salary will commensurate with education and/or experience. Qualifications- Master’s Degree in Mathematics, or related field with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in mathematics or related discipline.
- Ability to teach both online lecture, classroom lecture, and laboratory classes in the day and evening.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in interpersonal, analytical, oral, and written contexts
- Ability to design and deliver courses that expand departmental offerings, including courses offered in traditional, hybrid, and distance formats
- Ability to demonstrate effective and high-quality teaching
- Ability to use state-of-the-art classroom instructional technologies and LMS systems, such as Canvas.
- Doctoral Degree in Mathematics or related field
- Teaching experience, preferably in higher education, and/or at a Community College.
- Demonstrated ability to teach using technology in the classroom and/or online course delivery.
- Ability to demonstrate effective and high-quality teaching, supported by student evaluations, peer observations, teaching awards, assessment results, or reflective teaching statements.
- Ability to design and deliver courses that expand departmental offerings, including courses offered in traditional, hybrid, and distance formats, supported by syllabi, course proposals, or examples of instructional media.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in interpersonal, analytical, oral, and written contexts, as evidenced by teaching statements, publications, presentations, or professional communications
- Ability to effectively use contemporary classroom instructional technologies, demonstrated through course materials, learning management system use, instructional media, or technology-enhanced teaching examples.
Travel as per any required duties of the position, such as to sites/campuses and any training. Ability to cover assignments throughout the college service region as necessary for the job is required.
