Class:
Emergency/Essential Personnel

May be a combination of day, evening, online, and/or hybrid courses.

• Teach accounting courses to students (may include classroom, online, and hybrid formats).
• Prepare and deliver lesson plans, course materials, and assessments.
• Conduct teaching demonstrations if required.
• Perform special assignments as needed, including assisting the agency or state government during emergencies.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least two years of related occupational experience.
• Master’s degree in the discipline required for transfer eligible courses (preferred).
• Relevant education, training and/or experience in accounting.

• Operation of a State Vehicle (required).
• No supervision of employees.
• No required travel.

• Background check required (criminal background investigation, employment and education verification, etc.).
• May be required to complete the Commonwealth’s Statement of Economic Interest.
