Adjunct Faculty Pool - Culinary Arts

Adjunct Faculty – Culinary Arts. Course‑by‑course teaching on a semester basis, with duties including college‑level culinary courses and distance‑learning options during weekdays and weekends. Faculty are expected to stay current in their discipline and in evolving community‐college educational trends.

• Teach developmental and college‑level culinary arts courses, including distance‑learning sessions.
• Maintain currency in teaching discipline and community‑college education trends.
• Assist with emergency or essential personnel duties as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• May assist the agency or state government during an emergency declaration by the Governor.

• Associate degree in Culinary Arts, Food Service Management, or related field.
• Two years of industry experience.
• Serv Safe certification.
• Additional consideration: two years of teaching experience, industry management experience, and experience with online instruction.

Part‑time Adjunct Faculty (Culinary Arts).

Location:

Albemarle, VA. Salary commensurate with education and experience. FLSA exempt.
