Part-Time Physical Education Teacher SY26-27 (Richmond)
What You’ll Do:
PE teachers design and lead engaging units that promote physical fitness, health, teamwork, and sportsmanship. They help students build lifelong fitness habits and develop motor skills through a variety of activities. PE teachers facilitate active participation, lead skill instruction, and provide students with real-time feedback.
Note that this is a part-time role, designated at 0.2 FTE, with all work occurring between 2:05 PM and 3:30 PM each day.

- Teaching Credential in California to teach PE.
- Bachelor’s Degree (a Master’s Degree in Education is preferred, but not required).
- Clear health and background check.
- Teaching experience in your subject is preferred, but not required.

Our compensation policy strives to be equitable and transparent. The salary for this position starts at $12,585 and goes up to $20,538 commensurate with experience and qualifications.
