Testing Proctor – Part‑Time – Adult Education

Immediate start as a part‑time testing proctor, working 8:30 am‑1:30 pm Monday‑Thursday at Richmond City Public Schools, Richmond Technical Center, Richmond, Virginia.

• High school diploma or equivalency required; associate’s degree or equivalent training preferred.
• One year of experience in a testing environment (SAT or ACT).
• Must hold Pearson VUE certification or obtain it within 60 days of hire.
• Can work with minimal supervision and learn applications quickly.
• Available to work the required shift.

• Register and proctor computer‑based tests in accordance with Pearson Administrator guidelines.
• Assist with operation of the testing lab Monday‑Thursday.
• Maintain a secure, quiet testing environment.
• Document incident reports as needed.
• Pass the Pearson Test Administrator exam within 30 days.
• Perform other related duties.

Performed in a testing classroom; requires frequent standing, sitting, light lifting (up to 10 lb), walking, vocal communication, hearing and visual acuity for handling written or computer data.

Position type:
Part‑time. Salary: $18 per hour. Length of contract: temporary, terminating at any time.

This is a grant‑funded position and is contingent upon availability of funds.
