Teaching Assistant Professor (Non-Tenure Track, F1165A)
The Department of Biological Sciences at Old Dominion University (ODU) invites applications for a full-time position as Teaching Assistant Professor to begin in Spring 2027. We seek candidates who can teach Human Anatomy and Physiology lecture courses and associated labs. These are high enrollment courses requiring appropriate pedagogies. Applicants who have experience with online teaching, the Anatomage table, bringing authentic research into undergraduate level labs, and team teaching are preferred.
This is a non-tenure track, nine-month teaching position with no expectations of research; teaching in summer is optional, contingent on enrollment. Departmental service and professional development will be expected.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience with online teaching
- Experience with Anatomage table
- Evidence of bringing authentic research into undergraduate level labs
- Experience with team teaching
