Business Administration and Management Adjunct Faculty (Part‑time)

Roanoke, VA (on‑campus and online)

Hours vary by course enrollment. Adjunct positions are appointed on a semester‑by‑semester, course‑by‑course basis.

• Teach college‑level courses in Business Administration and Management, including Intro to Business, Principles of Management, Human Resources Management, Marketing, Financial Management, and Applied Management Principles.
• Develop syllabi, exams, learning strategies, curriculum, and assessments.
• Maintain currency in teaching disciplines and current trends in community‑college education.
• Engage in departmental communication and activity.
• Complete additional duties as assigned and, if required, assist state government during emergencies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Management, plus a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the field.
• Minimum of two (2) years of related occupational experience.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience teaching at the college level, preferably in a community‑college environment.
• Proficiency with educational technology in the classroom.
