Hiring Range: $793.00 – $1,058.00 per credit hour
Hours will vary depending on availability and scheduling needs. Telework options are subject to change based on business needs. No bilingual or multilingual skill requirement.
Responsibilities- Plan and teach professional or technical courses in Applied Science or Non-Associate Degree Occupational Fields.
- Teach in a classroom, laboratory, and online environment to students with diverse academic backgrounds.
- Work strategically with colleagues, students, and community members to promote diversity and cultural respect.
- Assist the agency or state government in emergency declarations by the Governor, if required.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
- May assist in emergency response as directed by state government.
- Master’s Degree with at least eighteen graduate semester hours in the specific discipline.
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent for Career and Technical Education Courses.
- Official transcripts required prior to final offer.
- Demonstrated use of relevant technology and learning management systems.
- Commitment to student engagement in online teaching, including consistent communication and virtual support.
- Technology capability (WIFI, computers) for remote teaching.
- Ability to teach through a variety of modalities, including virtual instruction.
- Demonstrated competency and commitment to continuous professional development.
- Teaching experience.
- Work experience in the field.
- Experience with online teaching.
- Substantial, proven experience with innovative teaching and developing online courses in both synchronous and asynchronous environments at a regionally accredited institution.
No required travel. You may be expected to travel to all campus locations. No state vehicle operation or supervisory responsibilities.
