Schedule:
Day, evening, weekend, occasional hybrid; campuses include Middletown, Fauquier, Luray‑Page County Center, or off‑site locations.
- Develop and deliver courses in a variety of areas including Computers and Technology, Healthcare and Wellness, Industry and Manufacturing, Trades and Apprenticeships, Transportation, Business and Professional Development, Leadership Development, and Corporate Training.
- Teach in classroom or hybrid settings; some classes may be online.
- Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials, and use state‑of‑the‑art labs and equipment.
- Provide clear instruction to a mix of novices, partially trained, and experienced technicians seeking credentials.
- Support students and staff throughout the course, including lab tech assistance.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Professional experience and appropriate certification in the teaching area.
- Associate degree or equivalent in a relevant field preferred.
- No previous teaching experience required; demonstrated practical expertise is essential.
- Teach as little as one evening per week.
- Compensation up to $3,500 per course (actual compensation varies by subject, length, and experience).
