Overview
For the position of Adjunct Instructor – Electrical at Paul
D. Camp Community College, the instructor will teach up to 9 credits, including dual enrollment courses for high school and college students held at the Smithfield Center. The role is part‑time, with a schedule Monday–Friday 7:15 AM–3:00 PM, 6–8 hours per week for 18 weeks per year.
- Teach course content in assigned electrical courses.
- Deliver dual enrollment classes linking high school and college credit.
- Conform to college policies regarding dual enrollment syllabus.
- Participate in adjunct faculty evaluation process.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, including assistance in emergencies.
- Master’s degree in the academic field or master’s with 18 graduate semester hours.
- Teaching experience in the discipline.
- ELE 148 – Power Distribution Systems
- ELE 216 – Industrial Electricity
- ELE 239 – Programmable Controllers
Master’s degree in academic field and teaching experience in the discipline.
