Special Education Teacher
Special Education Teacher position in Richmond, Virginia. 36-week contract, up to $53 per hour, with competitive pay and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Collaborate with staff, parents, and administrators to support student success
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Ensure compliance with school policies and state regulations
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Special Education Teacher
- Relevant teaching certification for Special Education in Virginia
- Strong classroom management skills
- Collaborative attitude
- Must comply with facility standards, work day shift, clear background check, excellent communication skills, flexibility to adapt to facility needs
- Premium pay: weekly direct deposit, 13% above market average
