Criminal Justice Adjunct Faculty
Adjunct faculty positions are appointed on a course-by-course, semester basis, as needed. The role involves teaching developmental and/or college-level courses, which may include distance-learning courses during the day and evening, on weekdays and weekends.
Responsibilities- Teach developmental and/or college-level courses in Criminal Justice.
- Deliver instruction primarily face-to-face with the possibility of remote instruction.
- May be required to perform additional duties as assigned.
- May be called upon to assist the agency or state government in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
Teaching modalities include online, on-campus, and hybrid. Must be able to come to campus for in-person learning and/or professional development.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice or a related field.
- At least 2 years of law enforcement work experience.
- Minimum of a master's degree in criminal justice or any related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Criminal Justice courses (additional consideration).
References and criminal background checks are required. Official transcripts are required upon employment. Foreign transcripts must be evaluated by an accredited evaluation service.
