Job SummaryThe Department of Chemistry and Forensic Science at EKU is seeking Part‑Time Secondary Instructors to work with program faculty, assisting in teaching undergraduate lectures and laboratories. Course load may be up to 9 credit hours per semester. Courses may include Introductory Chemistry, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, and associated labs.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related discipline, or a bachelor’s degree plus at least 18 graduate credit hours in Chemistry or a related discipline, from a regionally accredited (SACS, Middle States, North Central, etc.) or internationally recognized institution.
Applicants should submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, unofficial transcripts for undergraduate and graduate programs, and contact information for at least three professional references. Unofficial transcripts are acceptable at the time of application; official transcripts will be required at the time of offer.
