Position Overview

Title:

Adjunct Faculty – Business (Finance/Marketing)

Division:
Business, Engineering and Technology Division, Brightpoint Community College

Location:

Chesterfield – 041 (either Chester or Midlothian campus)

Pay: $793–$1,693 per credit hour

Schedule:

Varies. Telework options may change based on business needs.

• Provide traditional classroom instruction on either the Chester or Midlothian campus.
• Deliver courses in Finance or Marketing (preferred) or other approved business subjects.
• Assist the agency or state government during emergency declarations by the Governor, if required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the specific discipline.
• Work experience in the subject matter.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Prior teaching experience at the postsecondary level.
• Ability to use instructional technologies.

• Compliance with a criminal background check.
• Telework options subject to change (per business needs).
• No required travel. No supervisory responsibilities. No state vehicle operation.
