College Lecturer
Brightpoint Community College seeks a part‑time faculty member to teach evening courses in Geospatial Technology using the ArcGIS software suite. The role is limited to a maximum of 12 credit hours per semester and requires instructional delivery in a two‑year public institution setting.
Responsibilities- Teach basic concepts of ArcGIS for data visualization and map creation.
- Assist students in editing existing maps and applying spatial data analysis techniques.
- Complete other duties as assigned and support agency or state government during emergency declarations.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- At least two years of relevant work experience.
- Proficient use of instructional technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check.
- Experience with ArcGIS for land development projects (optional).
