Position Overview
Architectural Engineering Technology Adjunct – Part‑time faculty position at Brightpoint Community College, located in Chesterfield, VA. Pay ranges from $793 to $1,693 per credit hour. Classes are offered in the morning, afternoon, and evening, and schedule varies.
Responsibilities- Teach courses in materials and methods of construction, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Architecture, Revit Architecture, and Revit MEP.
- Provide classroom and laboratory instruction covering properties of construction materials, related testing procedures, and CAD software applications for residential and commercial buildings.
- Assist the Division of Engineering, Business, and Public Services in enhancing student learning.
- May perform additional duties as assigned and assist in emergency situations if requested by state government.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Minimum of two years related work experience.
- Proficiency with instructional technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check.
- Materials testing certification is an advantage.
- Autodesk Certified User is an advantage.
- Operation of a state vehicle is required (no supervisory or travel requirements).
