Job Description
Reynolds is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia serving the capital city and neighboring counties. Part‑time adjunct faculty are expected to teach Economics courses, support student learning, and advance the institution’s commitment to diversity and equity.
Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities- Teach Economics courses in a part‑time adjunct faculty‑ranked appointment.
- Develop and deliver instruction that incorporates multiple teaching strategies and technology.
- Support students of diverse cultural backgrounds and foster inclusive learning environments.
- Assist the agency or state government during emergency declarations, if required.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and departments across campuses.
- Master’s degree in Economics or a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Economics.
- College and/or online teaching experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to employ technology routinely in instruction.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in working with multicultural populations.
- Successful completion of the college’s pre‑employment security screening.
