Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant – September 2026 Start

Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a supportive primary school?

A friendly and high-achieving primary school in Richmond is looking to recruit a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026
. This full-time, long-term role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with older primary pupils and is passionate about helping children develop both academically and personally.

Working closely with the class teacher, you’ll support pupils across the classroom, deliver targeted interventions and provide additional support to children who need extra encouragement to reach their full potential.

The Role
  • Full-time Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant.
  • September 2026 start.
  • Support teaching and learning across Year 3 to Year 6.
  • Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions in English and Maths.
  • Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom organisation.
  • Help create an engaging, positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Encourage pupils’ confidence, independence and participation in class.

  • Previous experience working in a primary school is desirable.
