Mission

The mission of Thales Academy is to provide an excellent and affordable education for students in Pre‑K to 12th grades through Direct Instruction (K‑5) and a Classical Curriculum (6‑12) that embodies traditional values.

Responsibilities
  • Assist lead teacher with classroom management, curriculum, and other tasks
  • Implement the approved curriculum; provide proper pacing guides, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Cooperate with teammates to develop teaching skills.
  • Collaborate in team planning meetings and share curriculum and instructional expertise.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities.
  • Act in a professional manner in verbal and nonverbal communications while following established guidelines.
  • Promote communication between parents, community members, and teammates; work to establish and maintain home‑school connections.
  • Assist in providing opportunities for parental/guardian involvement within the school.
Qualifications
  • High energy and organization with a passion for teaching children
  • Direct Instruction or other teaching experience preferred but not required
