Position Overview

Adjunct Faculty – Mathematics at Blue Ridge Community College, Augusta Location. Part‑time, exempt, paid $793–$1693 per credit hour.

• Instruct undergraduate and/or graduate courses in mathematics on a combination of day, evening, online, and/or hybrid formats.
• Prepare and deliver course materials, assessments, and grades in accordance with college policies.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
• Adhere to emergency/essential personnel requirements as directed by the agency or state government.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the college.

• Master’s degree in Mathematics or related field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline.
• Demonstrated teaching ability; a teaching demonstration may be required.
• Proficiency in delivering courses in day, evening, online, or hybrid formats.

Work schedule may be a combination of day, evening, online, and/or hybrid courses. The position may require emergency response support as directed. No travel required.
