Adjunct Faculty – Health Information Management
Location & Compensation- Location:
Augusta, VA - Pay: $793–$1,693 per credit hour
- FLSA Status:
Exempt - Work Schedule:
Combination of day, evening, online, and/or hybrid courses; telework options subject to change.
- Develop, deliver, and assess instruction in Health Information Management courses.
- Prepare course materials, curricula, and assessment tools in accordance with institutional standards.
- Assist students with academic and career guidance.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned and to assist the agency or state government during an emergency declared by the Governor.
- High school diploma with a minimum of five years of related occupational experience.
- HIM certification from a national provider.
- Knowledge of health information systems and regulations.
- Effective communication and instructional skills.
- No supervisory responsibilities.
- No required travel.
- Operation of a state vehicle is not required.
