Position Title

Adjunct Instructor – Health Professions (Part‑time)

Frederick, VA (Campus; classes may also be online, hybrid, or off‑campus.)

Credit‑hour pay: $794.00 to $1,375.50 per hour. This part‑time position is not eligible for health or leave benefits, but may offer educational assistance through the college’s professional development and educational assistance policies.

• Provide general classroom and clinical lab instruction both online and in a traditional setting.
• Teach face‑to‑face classes, including days, evenings, and weekends on and off campus.
• Incorporate the latest instructional technologies and interactive learning tools into course delivery.
• Assist in program recruitment.
• Advise students who are in the program or aspiring to join.
• Monitor and improve student retention.
• Maintain class records, input grades, and track attendance.
• Provide quality customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
• Continually develop and improve skills through professional development.
• Participate in faculty committees and other activities as assigned.

• Associate’s degree (required).
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• Specific certifications and qualifications may be required depending on the program.
• Background check and E‑Verify required for all positions.
