Germanna Community College, a two‑year public institution in the Virginia Community College System, is seeking a Part‑time Workforce Instructor in Healthcare Adjunct to teach in various locations across Virginia. This role requires teaching both in‑person and online courses in healthcare disciplines such as Phlebotomy, EKG, Billing & Coding, CMA & CNA, and other related fields.

• Teach assigned courses, including didactic lectures and hands‑on lab skills, both online and in‑person.
• Develop course syllabi, instructional materials, and assessment tools.
• Maintain accurate records, assign grades, and assess student progress.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations of Germanna Community College and the Virginia Community College System.
• Keep current competence in the discipline or field of specialization.

Provide quality instruction consistently, submit required records and reports on time, teach prescribed courses with approved texts, and uphold professional ethics as outlined in college policies.

• Demonstrated skills and experience in the subject area.
• History of successful teaching experience.
• Subject matter expertise and experience facilitating learning.

• Ability to teach online or willingness to learn online learning platforms.
• Industry certifications in respective fields are preferred.
• Experience with or willingness to learn artificial intelligence tools.

May be required to perform other duties as assigned, including assisting the agency or state government during emergency declarations.
