Adjunct - Workforce Development

Job Overview

Virginia Highlands Community College is seeking to build a pool of applicants for future adjunct faculty positions in the Virginia Highlands Community College Division. The selected candidate will assist in establishing and maintaining that pool.

• Maintain a database of qualified adjunct candidates for future openings.
• Assist with administrative tasks and support the agency or state government during emergencies declared by the Governor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum qualifications required by the accrediting agency in the discipline taught.

Employment Type:

Part‑time, exempt, hourly $35‑60 per hour. Telework options are subject to change based on business needs. Required to operate a state vehicle.

Supervisory responsibilities:

none. Required travel: none.
