Principal/Lead Teacher
Position: A principal/teacher is one designated by the Superintendent of Schools, in collaboration with the local school board. The person selected as principal/teacher serves in a capacity of principal and teacher overseeing the day-to-day operations of the school and problem-solving issues as it relates to parents, children and staff through conflict resolution. This individual will ensure that the school is operating smoothly and effectively.
Requirements:
- Practicing member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
- Achieved no less than a Bachelor's Degree
- Local Fingerprint and Background Check clearance
- Sterling Volunteers clearance
Qualifications:
- Eligible for denominational administration endorsement
- Eligible for denominational teacher certificate
- Adventist K-8 school experience/training preferred
- Administrative experience and/or training preferred
- Prior teaching experience preferred
- Effective business management skills
- Effective interpersonal skills
