Pharmacoepidemiology and Health Outcomes Research Faculty Position
VCU School of Pharmacy's Department of Pharmacotherapy & Outcomes Science invites you to apply for an open-rank (tenure-eligible), full-time, 12-month faculty position in Health Outcomes and Pharmacoepidemiology. This position will support the professional Pharm.
D. and graduate programs at the School of Pharmacy and make a substantial contribution to the research mission of the School of Pharmacy.
This position will involve:
- Research:
Approximately 75% effort, with a focus on securing extramural funding, publishing peer-reviewed manuscripts, and conducting collaborative research. - Teaching:
Approximately 15% effort, contributing to professional (Pharm.D.) and graduate programs. - Service:
Approximately 10% effort, serving on departmental, School, and/or University Committees, as well as in a professional capacity in their respective field.
Minimum qualifications include:
- Ph.D. in pharmacoepidemiology and health outcomes research.
- Demonstration of or potential for an extramurally funded research program.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism, and civility.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Established record of extramural funding.
- Experience in interdisciplinary research collaborations.
- Experience in academic teaching at the professional and/or graduate level.
