Assistant​/Associate​/Professor Health Outcomes and Pharmacoepidemiology (tenure-eligible) - VCU School of Pharmacy

Pharmacoepidemiology and Health Outcomes Research Faculty Position

VCU School of Pharmacy's Department of Pharmacotherapy & Outcomes Science invites you to apply for an open-rank (tenure-eligible), full-time, 12-month faculty position in Health Outcomes and Pharmacoepidemiology. This position will support the professional Pharm.

D. and graduate programs at the School of Pharmacy and make a substantial contribution to the research mission of the School of Pharmacy.

This position will involve:

• Research:
  Approximately 75% effort, with a focus on securing extramural funding, publishing peer-reviewed manuscripts, and conducting collaborative research.
• Teaching:
  Approximately 15% effort, contributing to professional (Pharm.D.) and graduate programs.
• Service:
  Approximately 10% effort, serving on departmental, School, and/or University Committees, as well as in a professional capacity in their respective field.

Minimum qualifications include:

• Ph.D. in pharmacoepidemiology and health outcomes research.
• Demonstration of or potential for an extramurally funded research program.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism, and civility.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Established record of extramural funding.
• Experience in interdisciplinary research collaborations.
• Experience in academic teaching at the professional and/or graduate level.
