The Department of Accounting in the School of Business at Virginia Commonwealth University is recruiting a pool of adjunct facultyapplicants on an ongoing basis. This pool will be accessed onlywhen an opening arises. We are unable to hire applicants who arenot already in the pool.

- Teaching courses in accounting as needed. These classes couldbe inclusive of all areas within the discipline; including (but not limited to), financial, managerial, auditing, taxation and accounting information systems.
- Meet all designated course instruction guidelines
- Grade assignments and exams in a timely manner based oninstructions/rubric provided
- Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours
- Submit final grades according to School policy
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Demonstrated experience working in and fostering an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population offaculty, staff, and students from various backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as an employee at VCU.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree or comparable work experience as a licensedaccounting professional

Salary Range:$6,900 per 3 credits taught
