Adjunct Faculty - Accounting, School of Business

The Department of Accounting in the School of Business at Virginia Commonwealth University is recruiting a pool of adjunct facultyapplicants on an ongoing basis. This pool will be accessed onlywhen an opening arises. We are unable to hire applicants who arenot already in the pool.

• Teaching courses in accounting as needed. These classes couldbe inclusive of all areas within the discipline; including (but not limited to), financial, managerial, auditing, taxation and accounting information systems.
• Meet all designated course instruction guidelines
• Grade assignments and exams in a timely manner based oninstructions/rubric provided
• Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours
• Submit final grades according to School policy

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Demonstrated experience working in and fostering an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population offaculty, staff, and students from various backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as an employee at VCU.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree or comparable work experience as a licensedaccounting professional
