Leaf Spring School at Three Chopt is seeking experienced and passionate Teachers with one to two years of classroom experience who will inspire young learners in a caring, hands‑on environment. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00–$18 per hour, based on position and experience

Schedule: Monday–Friday (hours scheduled between 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.)

No evening or weekend shifts.

• Participate in conferences and progress updates.

• Work collaboratively with teachers and administrators.
• Share ideas and support your teammates.
• Be willing to learn, grow, and try new things.
• Contribute to a positive, family‑like school culture.

• Create a structured, engaging, and nurturing environment aligned with high‑quality standards (e.g., NAEYC).
• Supervise and mentor Assistant Teachers and Aides, modeling effective teaching strategies and classroom routines.
• Ensure all activities and classroom practices comply with Virginia state licensing standards.

• Experience working with children ages 6 weeks–5 years
  .
• A caring, patient, and dependable personality.
• Strong understanding of child development.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• High school diploma or GED.

• 1–2+ years of preschool or early childhood classroom experience preferred.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred or in progress
  .
• CDA is a plus!
• Experience leading or mentoring other teachers is a plus.
