College Access Manager

Location:

Richmond, VA (School-based position) | Full-time

Salary Range: $50,000–$60,000

Join us as we pilot a new school-based model to partner with schools to build a college-going culture and ensure students have the knowledge, resources, and individualized support needed to successfully navigate the college admissions process.

Access Manager will play a hands-on role in shaping the futures of first-generation and high- achieving students across the Richmond region.

About Us

Partnership for the Future is a college access and success program serving more than 500 students each year. Our mission is to prepare high-achieving high school students for success in college and beyond. PFF primarily serves first-generation, low-income students, and our comprehensive year-round program ensures students have the tools and confidence to graduate from college with a launching pad into successful careers.

What

You’ll Do

As a School-Based College Access Manager, you will:

  • Establish a consistent and visible presence within the school community, serving as a resource and advocate for college access and success.
  • Partner with school counselors, administrators, teachers, and school-based staff to support students through the college admissions process.
  • Plan enrichment activities and accompany students on college tours.
  • Stay ahead of admissions trends to give students the best competitive edge.
  • Build meaningful relationships with students, families, and community partners.
  • Support school wide college access initiatives, including college fairs, application events, FAFSA completion efforts, Decision Day activities, and family engagement opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree required; three or more years working with high school or college students preferred.
  • Experience supporting first-generation and economically disadvantaged students is strongly desired.
  • Strong communication, organization, and mentoring skills.
  • A team player who can also manage projects independently.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
