Position DetailsLocation: 11001 Three Chopt Rd, Richmond, VA 23233
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00–$18 per hour, based on position and experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday (hours scheduled between 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.)
No evening or weekend shifts.

- Participate in conferences and progress updates.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and administrators.
- Share ideas and support your teammates.
- Be willing to learn, grow, and try new things.
- Contribute to a positive, family-like school culture.
- Create a structured, engaging, and nurturing environment aligned with high-quality standards (e.g., NAEYC).
- Supervise and mentor Assistant Teachers and Aides, modeling effective teaching strategies and classroom routines.
- Ensure all activities and classroom practices comply with Virginia state licensing standards.
- Experience working with children ages 6 weeks–5 years
. - A caring, patient, and dependable personality.
- Strong understanding of child development.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1–2+ years of preschool or early childhood classroom experience preferred.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred or in progress
. - CDA is a plus!
- Experience leading or mentoring other teachers is a plus.
- Bring energy and enthusiasm to the classroom.
