Germanna Community College is a public, open access institution of higher education in the Virginia Community College System. The Art Department at Germanna Community College is currently looking for an adjunct able to teach ART 131, 132, and 180 primarily. The department is also accepting applications for possible future openings in the field of Art.

Please note: This wide salary range reflects the diverse faculty ranks within the Virginia Community College System (VCCS). Final salary determination and placement within this range are based on the candidate’s academic credentials and occupational experience as evaluated via the VCCS-10 process.

Special Assignments May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

KSA's/Required Qualifications

• Depending on the course, positions may require:
  Master’s Degree with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in teaching discipline; or a Bachelor’s Degree with a major in teaching field with prior related occupational experience
• Official transcripts will be required prior to final offer
• Complete Growing with Canvas and TOPS 2.2 prior to teaching

Additional Considerations

• Substantial teaching experience
• Work experience in the field
• Experience with on-line teaching
• Experience with or willingness to learn artificial intelligence tools
