Primary Functions of the Position:

The Peer Support Intern will support the programs department by engaging with programs participants in a professional capacity to encourage positive program engagement and success. This role will support Career Readiness and Employment program participants and graduates by contributing to cohort curriculum and providing in-person peer coaching and support.

This position requires collaboration with:

• Manager of Career Readiness and Employment
• Career Readiness and Employment team
• Life Skills and Transition team
• Director of Programs

Specific Functions of the Position:

• Contribute to cohort curriculum and classroom teaching opportunities for Career Readiness and Employment Program.
• Provide in-person peer coaching and support for Career Readiness and Employment participants.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of social groups for adult programs clients and community members.

Qualifications:

Required Primary Attributes:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Career Readiness and Employment Internship graduate.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
