Partnership for the Future (PFF) is seeking a School-Based College Access Manager to help pilot a new school-based model that partners with schools to build a college-going culture, ensuring students have the knowledge, resources, and individualized support needed to successfully navigate the college admissions process. This role will play a hands-on part in shaping the futures of first-generation and high-achieving students across the Richmond region.
Partnership for the Future is a college access and success program serving more than 500 students each year, with a mission to prepare high-achieving high school students for success in college and beyond. PFF primarily serves first-generation, low-income students, and its comprehensive year-round program ensures students have the tools and confidence to graduate from college with a launching pad into successful careers.
Key Responsibilities- Establish a consistent and visible presence within the school community, serving as a resource and advocate for college access and success
- Partner with school counselors, administrators, teachers, and school-based staff to support students through the college admissions process
- Plan enrichment activities and accompany students on college tours
- Stay ahead of admissions trends to give students the best competitive edge
- Build meaningful relationships with students, families, and community partners
- Support school wide college access initiatives, including college fairs, application events, FAFSA completion efforts, Decision Day activities, and family engagement opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree required; three or more years working with high school or college students preferred.
- College Access experience a plus.
- Experience supporting first-generation and economically disadvantaged students is strongly desired.
- Strong communication andorganization.
- Experience coaching or mentoring students.
- A team player who can also manage projects independently.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
$50,000 – $60,000 / year
- Medical, vision, dental, and life insurance.
- 15 paid holidays (including Christmas week) + 3 weeks PTO annually.
