Job SummaryEnvironmental Compliance Intern
DEV Operations Support | Dominion EnergyThe Environmental Compliance Intern will support Dominion Energy Virginia (DEV) Operations Support in promoting environmental stewardship and regulatory compliance across electric generation, transmission, distribution, renewable energy, and other operations facilities. This position provides hands-on exposure to environmental compliance programs, regulatory requirements, and operational practices that help ensure Dominion Energy meets its environmental commitments and maintains excellence in environmental performance.
Key Responsibilities Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience- Support environmental compliance and operational excellence programs across DEV facilities and projects.
- Assist with environmental audits, self-assessments, inspections, and corrective action tracking.
- Help review environmental permits, compliance plans, and regulatory requirements.
- Collect, organize, and analyze environmental information and compliance data.
- Support development of environmental procedures, guidance documents, training materials, and communication tools.
- Assist with environmental reporting and documentation management.
- Participate in field visits and site assessments to observe environmental compliance activities.
- Collaborate with environmental, operations, engineering, safety, and project teams on environmental initiatives.
- Research emerging environmental regulations and industry best practices.
- Must be a student enrolled at a 4 year college or university majoring in Enviromental Science or a related field.
- Must have an anticipated graduation date in Spring 2028 or later.
- Must have a 2.5 GPA or higher.

Hourly Rate$22.00 - $28.00
