Electrical Engineer

Overview

LHH is working with a client seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer to lead development of safety-critical electrical subsystems for an innovative elevator product portfolio. This high-impact role starts with a belt monitoring system for a new traction elevator machine and offers significant ownership and visibility.

• Drive system-level design from concept to production
• Define functional requirements and system architecture
• Coordinate supplier-led design and testing
• Support compliance with ASME A17.1/A17.5 standards

• BS in Electrical Engineering (Master’s a plus)
• 5+ years in electrical or systems engineering
• Experience with motors, VFD systems, and electromechanical equipment
• Familiarity with safety-critical codes and supplier coordination

• Work on patentable, cutting-edge technology
