Overview
LHH is working with a client seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer to lead development of safety-critical electrical subsystems for an innovative elevator product portfolio. This high-impact role starts with a belt monitoring system for a new traction elevator machine and offers significant ownership and visibility.
What You’ll Do- Drive system-level design from concept to production
- Define functional requirements and system architecture
- Coordinate supplier-led design and testing
- Support compliance with ASME A17.1/A17.5 standards
- BS in Electrical Engineering (Master’s a plus)
- 5+ years in electrical or systems engineering
- Experience with motors, VFD systems, and electromechanical equipment
- Familiarity with safety-critical codes and supplier coordination
- Work on patentable, cutting-edge technology
