The U.S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps (CEC) offers engineers and architects the opportunity to serve as commissioned officers while leading critical infrastructure projects worldwide. As a CEC Officer, you’ll manage multimillion-dollar construction efforts, lead diverse teams, and support Navy and Marine Corps missions ashore and in expeditionary environments. - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in an ABET-accredited engineering program or a NAAB-accredited architecture program
- Meet Navy officer age requirements (typically commissioned before age 42; waivers may be available)
- Physically qualified for military service
- Eligible for a security clearance
- Demonstrated leadership potential and strong academic performance
