Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role in Richmond, VA, for an Environmental Services Field Operations Lead. In this role, you will oversee field operations, ensuring projects are executed effectively, safely, and in compliance with environmental regulations. Daily activities include managing field teams, coordinating resources, monitoring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and fostering strong customer relationships. You will play an active role in project planning, troubleshooting operational challenges, and maintaining high standards for quality and efficiency in delivering environmental services.

Qualifications
  • Leadership and team management skills, including the ability to coordinate and direct field personnel effectively.
  • Proficiency in operational planning, resource management, and problem-solving in dynamic environments.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations, safety standards, and compliance protocols.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service abilities to maintain client relationships and ensure project success.
  • Experience in handling hazardous materials and familiarity with waste management or environmental services is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Ability to travel locally and meet on-site work requirements as necessary.
  • Relevant certifications, such as HAZWOPER or knowledge of environmental compliance systems, are highly valued.
