Sr. Project Manager - Data Center Mechanical Construction
A leading national mechanical contractor is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to support large scale data center construction projects in the Richmond / Fredericksburg corridor. This role will oversee mechanical and piping scopes including HVAC systems, chilled water, and mission-critical infrastructure on complex builds.
Key focus areas- Manage HVAC/piping installation on data center projects
- Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and procurement
- Drive schedule, manpower, safety, and project financials
- Coordinate directly with GCs, subs, and ownership teams
- 3+ years of mechanical construction experience (HVAC/piping preferred)
- Experience on data center or mission-critical projects strongly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong coordination, scheduling, and project financial management skills
- Willingness to work onsite full-time in the Richmond/Fredericksburg area
