ATS is a leading provider of critical testing, inspection, certification, and compliance services across diverse markets.
Responsibilities- Perform field inspections of industrial equipment under the supervision of qualified API inspection personnel (storage tanks, pressure vessels, and piping systems).
- Generate calculations in accordance with API, ASME, STI, etc.
- Generate written reports utilizing MS Word and MS Excel.
- Develop AutoCAD drawings or isometrics.
- Assist in managing projects ranging from $5,000 to $100,000.
- Assist in managing client relationships.
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Structural Engineering or closely related field.
- Experience in Mechanical Integrity preferred but not required.
- Must be willing to travel 30% out of office.
- API certifications to be obtained through OJT after hire; pre-test support from ATS in specialties: API-510, API-570, API-653, CWI.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint. - Experience with AutoCAD and/or Solid Works preferred.
- Desire to obtain Engineer in Training (EIT) and/or Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred.
- U.S. Person required due to ITAR compliance.
- Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
- Must pass a drug screen and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
- Work from heights on scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man-baskets, etc.
- Work in confined spaces requiring crawling, stooping, climbing, etc.
- Work around operating equipment and industrial environments.
- Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, film developing chemicals, etc.
