Position: POWERMAX ADMIN
App Sync Environment:

• Review of documents App Sync installation and configuration details.

• Review Design and plans of App Sync environment.
o Review App Sync Support Matrix and scalability guides.
o Review App Sync server and agent sizing requirements per the Performance and Scalability Guide.
o Review the requirements for App Sync pre-install software.
o Review application data protection type and service plans, replicas, and mount configuration.

• Review Configuration of App Sync server, which includes adding license, discovering application Hosts

• Review environment meets App Sync requirements this includes:
o Configuration of App Sync server, adding license, discovering application hosts.

• Ongoing Documentation

• Knowledge transfer

• Day to day administration

• Other tasks as directed by end user

• Configuration and admin of SRDF since most of the data is SRDF replicated and App Sync will be the orchestration for the automation

Power Max Environment:
The Resident Engineer will perform the following services for the Dell Power Max code upgrades under the direction of the customer:
Upgrade Execution and Validation :

• Execute the Power Max code upgrade following Dell EMC best practices.

• Validate and test the upgraded system to ensure proper functionality, stability, and performance.
Documentation :

• Document pre- and post-upgrade activities, including updated configurations, changes made, and lessons learned.

• Deliver verification reports on software and patches, using hash checks, digital signatures, and other verification methods.
Compliance :

• Comply to all regulatory security standards and requirements as documented and shared by customer including ISO/IEC 27002 and NERC CIP-013-1

• Document the verification process and any compliance measures undertaken.

All other work associated with the Power Max Code upgrades will be handled by either CDW or Dell Support Services or Dell Acct Team as referenced below:

Assessment and Planning: CDW Responsible

• Assess the current Power Max environment to identify risks, dependencies, and readiness for the upgrade.

• Develop a detailed upgrade plan, including pre-upgrade checks, backup procedures, rollback options, and schedules.

Collaboration and Support:
Dell Remote Proactive Support Team Responsible

• Coordinate with Dell EMC Support to resolve any issues and ensure upgrade compliance.

• Provide post-upgrade support, including troubleshooting and performance optimization.

• Deliver reports detailing upgrade completion and overall system performance.
