Role Overview Data Engineers provide data-driven solutions to help improve processes and overall business performance. This role focuses on gathering, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data to help inform strategic decisions. The position involves designing data solution frameworks, ingesting data from various sources, and developing programs to clean and process raw data.

Key Responsibilities
* Analyze and organize raw data.
* Build data systems and pipelines.
* Evaluate business needs and objectives.
* Interpret trends and patterns from complex data sets.
* Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling.
* Build algorithms and prototypes.
* Combine and integrate raw information from different sources.
* Develop analytical tools and programs.
* Collaborate with data scientists and architects.
* Design and build data models to support business processes.

Required Qualifications
*
* Education:

** A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a similar field is required. A Master’s degree is a plus.
*
* Experience:

** Previous experience as a data engineer or in a similar role is necessary. A proven track record of managing and executing data projects is expected.
** Technical

Skills:

*** Knowledge of programming languages such as Java and Python.
* Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark.
* Proficiency in SQL and other data manipulation languages.
* Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
* Familiarity with machine learning algorithms.
* Experience with Cloud Security, Cloud Computing, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud.

Preferred Qualifications
* 3+ years working with data migrations or implementations.
* Data engineering certification (e.g., IBM Certified Data Engineer).
* Certification in data analytics or related fields.

Compensation & Benefits The pay rate for this position is between $65.00 and $70.24 per hour. A benefits package may be available to eligible employees.
