Project Engineers provide technical supervision and assist with the management of projects assigned to them. They also provide design for major tasks within projects which are managed by others. Project Engineers are required to provide input into preparation of the proposals, budgets, and schedules for new project opportunities. They manage production profitability; assist with quality control procedures and liaison with clients.

Project Engineers may also serve as Project Team Leaders directing day to day technical requirements of staff.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide supervision of technical work performed by others.
• Coordinate technical work among departments.
• Perform duties necessary to develop design documents, studies and/or reports in accordance with appropriate standards.
• Have direct contact with clients where applicable.
• Assist in the coordination of subconsultant activities.
• Participate in presentations such as public meetings.
• Monitor compliance with scope of work.
• Implement quality control / quality assurance procedures.
• Monitor project schedules and budgets. Initiate corrective action as necessary.
• Perform/monitor project filing and archiving to ensure project records are maintained in accordance with company policies.
• Provide training and guidance to others.
• Monitor current design trends/methodologies related to their area of expertise to ensure that the company remains up to date with software, training needs and similar issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science Degree Required or Equivalent Experience
• Professional Engineer Registration Required
• 8 years minimum Design Experience preferred or equivalent work experience
