Construction Engineer

• Creation of proposals, scheduling, and budgeting on projects.
• Interact with client stakeholders and coordinate workload with construction management staff.
• Manage all phases of project execution including project organization, subcontractor/vendor management, scheduling, financial management, health and safety stewardship, and reporting.
• Lead and participate in technical, cost, and scheduling decisions, adhering to company quality standards and driving customer value.
• Oversee pursuits, designate appropriate resources to projects, define client needs, address concerns, and manage engineering resources within budget.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external teams of clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate on a program of construction management projects striving for continuous improvement in process development and execution.
• Devise innovative and creative solutions to problems encountered.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• 3+ years of project management experience and knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
• 1–2 years of supervisory/management experience.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
