What You Will Do
  • Partner with transformer manufacturers to understand insulation requirements and recommend practical material solutions for winding applications.
  • Advise customers on resin behavior, bond development, and curing process considerations that affect dielectric performance, thermal endurance, and manufacturing consistency.
  • Create technical proposals, application plans, and solution comparisons that support customer decision-making and commercial growth.
  • Troubleshoot product and process issues related to adhesion, cure cycles, and insulation system performance in both plant and customer settings.
  • Work cross-functionally with production, operations, and sales teams to align customer needs with quality standards, manufacturability, and delivery expectations.
  • Deliver technical presentations and application guidance at customer sites, meetings, and industry events.
  • Help identify market needs, product improvement opportunities, and new application pathways that can strengthen the business roadmap.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a closely related engineering discipline
  • 3 to 5 or more years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or a related customer-facing technical role
  • Working knowledge of transformer winding insulation systems, epoxy resins, and curing chemistry
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both engineering and commercial audiences
  • Ability to travel approximately 30 percent to 50 percent for customer visits and industry activities
Preferred Background
  • Experience supporting customers in the transformer, electrical insulation, or advanced materials space
  • Familiarity with CRM and ERP platforms
  • Exposure to industry standards such as UL, IEC, and IEEE
