Overview
In need of a candidate who is an expert in automation and digital transformation within CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) Industry or food, beverage or pharmaceutical. Candidate will utilize technical knowledge to drive digital transformation.
Responsibilities- Assist in development and execution of automation and digitalization.
- Be heavily involved in capital projects while ensuring budget parameters.
- Participate in optimization efforts, incorporating feedback/communication with engineering teams.
- Be responsible for manufacturing automation systems and cybersecurity.
- Actively apply company information systems standards and procedures.
- Engage in long‑term activities, including financial planning, to migrate obsolete systems into more modern/current supported hardware and software.
- Support automation‑driven deployments and new line/equipment in terms of integration.
- Develop and execute automation upgrades and digital manufacturing transformation.
- Ensure compliance with OTN (Operations Technology Network) and controls systems for plants.
- Act as project manager for various capital projects.
- Manage cyber security technology of various plants.
- Serve as issue escalation point for automation, OTN automation, budgets and management, including maintenance and lifecycle management.
- Develop capability for cybersecurity and automation within various plants.
- Implement initiatives to increase the digital maturity index at the site considering computerization, connectivity, visibility, transparency, predictive capacity and adaptability.
- Actively participate in global and regional automation and systems development, including security communications.
- Extensive experience in automation, digitalization, and cybersecurity.
- Must have all three areas of expertise.
- Experience in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods), food, beverage, or pharmaceutical industries.
- Operating experience in project engineering and IoT/i4.0.
- Minimum 8 years of automation and project management experience in the mentioned industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
