Geotechnical Engineer
Our client is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to support a wide range of site investigation, design, and construction support efforts. This role offers exposure to diverse project types and responsibilities, making it ideal for an engineer who wants hands-on experience, technical variety, and long-term career stability within a close-knit team.
Responsibilities- Perform geotechnical investigations including soil borings, field observations, and laboratory review
- Prepare geotechnical reports, recommendations, and construction support documentation
- Support construction materials testing activities and review test results for compliance
- Coordinate with project stakeholders including contractors, inspectors, and internal team members
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and technical problem-solving across multiple project types
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
- EIT required;
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred - Construction materials testing experience required
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, GEO5, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong technical writing, organizational, and communication skills
- PMP certification is a plus but not required.
