Wetland Studies and Solutions Inc., a Davey company is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient CADD Technician to join our site/civil engineering team at our Richmond, VA office. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming engineering concepts into detailed construction documents and 3D models. The ideal candidate is familiar with Civil 3D and proficient with surfaces, grading and alignments.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan Production: Prepare complete sets of construction drawings for land development projects including site plans, profiles, grading plans, and erosion control plans.
- 3D Modeling: Build and maintain Civil 3D surfaces, alignments and profiles.
- Data Management: Manage external references (Xrefs), data shortcuts, and sheet sets to ensure project consistency.
- Quality Control: Perform self-checks of work to ensure accuracy, neatness, and adherence to company CAD standards.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with Project Managers and Civil Engineers to implement design changes and meet tight project deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 2–5+ years of professional experience in civil site design/drafting.
- Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D is mandatory.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of land development principles (drainage, setbacks, slopes, and ADA requirements).
- Detail Oriented: Ability to produce "client-ready" plan sets with minimal supervision.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn new workflows and maintain organized file structures in a fast-paced environment.
