Active Professional Engineer (PE) Required A bit about us:Our client is a national environmental consulting and ecological restoration firm that partners with public agencies, private developers, utilities, and infrastructure organizations to restore and protect natural resources. Their work focuses on stream and wetland restoration, water resource engineering, habitat improvement, stormwater management, and environmental mitigation projects. They are recognized for delivering technically complex projects that improve ecosystems while supporting sustainable development across the United States.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biological Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Approximately 15 or more years of progressive engineering experience.
- Extensive experience leading engineering projects involving stream restoration, wetland restoration, stormwater management, or water resources.
- Strong understanding of engineering design principles, hydrology, hydraulics, and environmental regulations.
- Demonstrated experience reviewing technical documents and performing quality assurance/quality control.
- Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams and mentoring technical staff.
- Strong communication and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Previous experience within an environmental consulting firm.
- Experience supporting transportation, utility, municipal, or infrastructure projects.
- Existing relationships with regulatory agencies and public‑sector clients within Virginia or neighboring states.
- Experience contributing to business development, proposal preparation, and project pursuits.
- Familiarity with restoration construction methods and field implementation.
