Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to valuate electrical systems, products, and components by designing and conducting research programs, applying knowledge of electricity and materials, and confirming capabilities through testing methods. This role will also work to develop products by studying customer requirements, researching and testing manufacturing methods, and modifying equipment for assembly.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BSEE and 5 + years of experience as an EE or MSEE and 3 years of experience as an EE.
• Experience with schematic capture and circuit board layout tools like Altium Designer
• Knowledge of electronics and software development including:
• Circuit design, analog and digital including FPGAs.
• Distributed systems.
• Modern SERDES technologies
• Circuit layout for multilayer boards
• Analysis of circuits via PSpice or similar
• Debugging of circuits using oscilloscope and similar
• Design in cooperation with firmware side of house
• Experience with IDEs for microcontrollers
• Familiarity with C, C++, GIT, and Algorithm design and analysis
• Familiarity with electrical certifications such as UL, CE, and CSA
• Exposure to developing embedded solutions using PIC, STM, or ATMEL microcontrollers
