- 2-3+ years of drafting or CAD experience in an engineering, utilities, construction, or related industry.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:
- Create and update engineering drawings and design documentation for solar and substation projects using AutoCAD and other design software.
- Support solar projects initially, with the opportunity to expand into substation drafting and design as experience is gained.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project teams across multiple office locations to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
- Assist with revisions, markups, and design updates while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and industry standards.
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated CAD Technician to join our growing engineering team. This role will initially support solar design projects before transitioning into substation drafting and design work. The ideal candidate will have strong technical drafting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a desire to build a long-term career within the power and utilities industry.
Compensation:
$20/hr to $24/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
